IMPORTANT - Please read before completing your testimonial

Turnaround time varies with our workload and the quality of the testimonial submitted. It is advisable that you do not leave the completion and verification of your testimonials to the last minute, but rather ask the responsible person to sign them before you leave the yacht and then submit them to us, so they can be verified while still 'fresh'.

NB: Please submit your testimonials by uploading them on your PYA profile online, not by email to us, that's the fastest and safest way to submit them.

BEFORE you submit your testimonial please check the following in order to avoid unnecessary delays

  1. The testimonial form used should contain all necessary information, i.e. details of the yacht, legible signatory's contact details, breakdown of service time (days at sea, standby, shipyard, and watchkeeping, where applicable)

  2. The testimonial form should have both employment dates filled in and should not have dates overlapping with other dates of a previously submitted testimonial.

  3. The definitions of sea service should be followed, i.e. standby time should not exceed days at sea, service totals should not be higher than employment period, etc.

  4. The testimonial should not be self-signed. It should be signed as per MCA MIN 543.

Please read the below links for clarifications on definitions of sea service:
