The Groupement des Équipages Professionnels du Yachting (GEPY) has been uniting and representing
crew, professionals, and businesses in the yachting sector for over 20 years.
Founded in 2002, the association played a key role in the creation of the French STCW certificates, enabling French seafarers to access internationally recognised positions.
Today, GEPY’s mission is to provide information on regulatory and social developments, to bring the community together through events, and to act as a bridge between its members and the relevant institutions.
A new agreement of trust with DIRM Méditerranée now allows us to support our members in the renewal of their certificates and to facilitate communication with the French authorities – an assistance close to our heart, aimed at simplifying procedures that are often complex for seafarers.
