Metropolitan College was founded in 1982 and is the largest UK Transnational Education Provider in Europe. In 2018 t established the first UK-led Maritime Academy in Greece in collaboration with Solent University, and its Superyacht Academy which offers yacht crew training programmes of the highest standards accredited by MCA, RYA and IAMI. The Maritime and Superyacht Academies of Metropolitan College are located in Piraeus in an 11-floor modern 3500m2 campus with first class facilities, and together constitute the most comprehensive School of Maritime Studies in Greece and one of the largest Maritime Education and Training providers in Southern Europe.
