ISWAN - welfare support to seafarers

Last December ISWAN

The International Seafarers' Welfare and Assistance Network's  

instigated a survey of crew welfare issues on super yachts.  This Report highlighted common welfare problems met by crew serving on super yachts such as sexual harassment, bullying, stress and emotional issues, conditions of employment, and crew agreements. 

The PYA has been lobbying industry for some time regarding better awareness of welfare related issues and will now be working closely with ISWAN in developing specialist 24/7 support for its members.
