MYBA Charter Show 2021 Cancelled

The MYBA Charter Show is one of the highlights of the Mediterranean yachting calendar which brings together some of the world's leading charter professionals and the finest charter vessels, allowing industry professionals to meet with captains and crew and discover the wide range of supplementary services on offer.

Unfortunately, due the ongoing COVID-19 health and travel restrictions, the MYBA Charter Show 2021 has been cancelled. The 32nd Show was supposed to be held at Marina Port Vell in Barcelona from 26 to 29 April 2021.

MYBA commented, 'We are very disappointed that we will be unable to hold this event which provides exceptional networking opportunities, showcases our industry's finest and generates solid business but we know it’s the right decision based on the information we have today. In place of the in-person event, MYBA together with Marina Port Vell are already exploring alternative ways to engage the superyacht community and move forward'.

Due to the high number of yachting events that were cancelled as a result of the pandemic in 2020, the cancellation of the MYBA Charter Show sets an ominous tone for the other Mediterranean yachting events that are scheduled at the beginning of the season, such as the Palma Boat Show 2021.

The PYA is closely monitoring the developments of these major events on the yachting calendar and will provide further updates as soon as they are announced.
