Are you or one of your crew members struggling with addiction?
Learn how addiction works, how to identify it and what you can do to help a fellow crew member with an addiction.
Life is for Living and EMA, a therapeutic support system, have put together an event taking place on 30th January 2020, to shed some light on the issues of mental health, including the influence of drug use and related addictions.
The aim of this event is to give an understanding of how the brain works and supply crew managers with a toolkit to recognise the signs of mental health issues, thereby enabling them with the knowledge of whom they can direct their crew members to.
At this event, EMA, who are specialists in the treatment of addictions, will give pointers and clues to assist you in identifying the behaviours that are particularly specific to this issue. They also aim to create social awareness which will help affected individuals help themselves and create effective solutions.
By registering online your name will be placed on the guest list, which will be checked off by security at the entrance to Astilleros de Mallorca. The presentation will commence at 18:30 in the Cantina Galibos, where you will be able to purchase refreshments.
