Phil Rose

Phil Rose is currently the European General Manager of IYC which is part of the Trinity Yachts Group. Now based in Monaco, Phil, has many years experience within the Mega Yacht industry having entered as a Chief Engineer. However, his background is wide and varied. He has trained as an engineer, served as a police officer, built and developed cars for racing and rallying, owned a garage specialising in sports car restoration as well as owning and managing a Hotel.

He is probably better known within the PYA for his role in the development of the MCA Yacht Engineers qualifications and outside, his role in the development of the refit and repair facility at La Ciotat in France. Phil has worked as Chief Engineer on a number of large and high profile yachts, Group Project Manager with the Monaco Marine Group and more recently Operations Director of a major ship repair facility in Gibraltar before his current role with IYC.
