Norma Trease

Starting her yachting career by cruising and chartering on yachts small and large, charter and sail, Norma Trease has devoted her professional life to growing the industry. She founded The Crew Network in Fort Lauderdale, and over twelve years, built it into a serious business with offices in five countries before selling it to Fraser Yachts. For the last five years, she has concentrated on covering the international yachting scene from a crew perspective for many major yachting publications, recently joining The Yacht Report.

In addition to the PYA, her volunteer efforts include over ten years on the Executive Board of the International Superyacht Society, where she is also involved in their popular Crew Training Seminar series and administration of the ISS Distinguished Crew Awards. Norma is a familiar face at regattas and boat shows worldwide and frequently invited to participate in educational conferences as a delegate, speaker or chairman.
