Bridget Featherby (Yorkie) – Office Manager

Born in Yorkshire, the only daughter into a farming family who’s destiny was to marry the ‘next door’s farmers’ son’, she accidentally stumbled upon the yachting and decided it was a better option. We will not say how long ago this was, suffice to say that she was working on the first yacht (35 mtrs LOL) in Antibes to have a sat com fitted, which was the biggest yacht in the port at that time and never dreamt that she would still be here now!

Over a 15 year period, she sailed the Western Med, the Caribbean, States and spent a glorious year based in Micronesia cruising the Pacific and Australia. She was involved with 2 new builds projects and several extensive refits.
Eventually, the lure of a regular life style got the better and she put down roots in France and reverted to her background of sales and marketing. Initially she worked for a well known wine + provisioning company where she got ‘to go see all her friends, drink wine + someone paid her to do so!’. A perfect job for a while! Then, burnt out with knocking on gang ways, she looked for a nice quiet little office
job but found the PYA !!!! The rest as they say is history.
