Reminder - The CIC on STCW Port State Inspections will begin 1 September

24 August 2022

The Paris and Tokyo MoU joint Concentrated Inspection Campaign (CIC) on STCW will begin on 1 September 22 during Port State Control Inspections.  The Port State Control Officer will focus on 3 basic issues.

  • Seafarer certification

  • Manning

  • Hours of Rest


For the specific campaign questions, download the CIC inspections questionnaire.


The CIC inspections will be applicable for all ships, and conducted in conjunction with the regular Port State Control inspection. This campaign will be held for three months, commencing on 1 September 2022, and ending on 30 November 2022.
